When you use this skill, you'll notice a chunk of the right side of your HP bar turn dark red.
This skill is supposed to temporarily lower your maximum HP and give you increased PP regeneration for 30 seconds. Skill has a 120 second cooldown (mine is rank 6)
I have observed that.. after using this skill, if I get hit by an attack by a monster that is relatively weak, I actually do NOT lose health at all.
I believe this skill is actually not functioning as intended.
I think that when you pop this skill, you DO see a dark red portion on your HP bar but I do NOT believe that the skill actually lowered your maximum HP at all - so you do NOT have an increased chance of getting 1 shot by a boss when using this skill.
However, if I am hit for more than 25% of my health - or multiple times by weak enemies - then I will see some BLACK area to the left of the Dark Red area of my health bar - and when I heal myself - I believe it DOES function as intended after that, so I DO have an increased chance of getting 1 shot because my health is now actually only at 75%.
My theory is that when you use this skill, it doesn't ACTUALLY lower your maximum health AT ALL - you are still at 100% health even tho a % of your bar appears to be dark red. - This skill just prevents you from HEALING past 75% of your maximum health if you have taken damage
My theory is that this skill doesn't actually lower your HP unless you get hit and lose health and then heal yourself - then it does actually prevent you from healing past 75% of your maximum health (rank 6).
This is just my theory based on observations while using this skill, but I am pretty sure this is true.
